A Frugal Foodie Invitation
In yesterday's New York Times, writers Kim Severson and Julia Moskin faced off in a Foodie Frugal-like challenge. With $50 for a six-person dinner party, their budget was twice what a FF chef usually gets for that size soiree. Josh Short, whose menu included these sugar cookies, and Alice Garber had to do dessert and cocktails for ten for $75. Cathal Armstrong only got $25 for six people. How big a difference does that budget make? Kim and Julia, I'd love to have you join us for a Washington-style Frugal Foodie and weigh in.
